Conception
All working objects of Timo Structural can be placed into three conceptual points:
  1. Selected Beam.
  2. Connecting Beam.
  3. Selected Node.
It is significant to note that majority of user interface panels, windows, controls are appearing in automatic mode, if they can be required. Scene transformations - rotation and moving as well as Beam manipulations are provided mainly with mouse.

For scene translation it is necessary to move mouse with pressed middle mouse button (wheel). For rotation - to move mouse with pressed left mouse button. For scene scaling (zooming) - mouse wheel rotation.

The main idea of such separation is very simple. Imagine we are on framing bridge building area. The most natural way of construction mounting is connection process of free rod to fixing beam. By this way from rod to rod we are building a large construction.
The moving free rod we will name Connecting Beam. And beam to which we will joining free rod we will name Selected Beam. It is comfortable to consider Selected Beam as imagined or real fixed beam. For adding Beam to scene it is necessary to click button Plus at the left side of window.
The screenshot below shows Selected Beam and its panel.

Rod receives the status of Selected Beam by clicking on beam by left mouse button. Color of Selected Beam is Dark Goldenrod.

Connecting Beam and its panel is presented below.

Beam receives the status of Connecting Beam by clicking on beam by right mouse button. Color of Connecting Beam is Blue.

Rigid connection of beams is main method of nodes creation. Naturally if we have two beams with the same butt points we can create node or rigid connection. In other words for node creation we must have Selected Beam(s) and Connecting Beam(s) which are have common point. Basic mode of Beams connection is automatic coupling of Beams by one of four buttons as we can see on screenshot.

Thus, each Beam butt point marked by appropriate color. The A point of Beam is conditionally beginning point of Beam and it looks like yellow half-sphere (non ascetic mode) or prism (ascetic mode). On the contrary the green half-sphere of Beam is conditionally end point of Beam. After clicking a Button showed on previous screenshot we will get something like this (screenshot below).

The next screenshot is showing new formed node by clicking Create Node button (screenshot above).

Node receives the status of Selected Node by clicking on node by left mouse button. Color of Selected Node is Dark Goldenrod.

There is a way to add single Node to free (without Node or Nodes) point of Selected Beam. This technique is demonstrated by next screenshot.

Further manipulations like adding load and fixing in Nodes, load along Beams and so on can be provided with items of Management Panel. It will turned on by clicking on top left place of window - Management Button. Only one object (Beam or Node) can be in Selected status at the same time. For example, Selected Beam tab view is shown below.

It is significant to note that solution process is possible for scene where all Beams have Node connections (glued in Nodes) in both butt points. Also construction requires in proper fixing - supports in some nodes. In other words the construction fixing does not permit the body movement as whole.
